No stand or motor provided. This Beaver wood lathe bed is a sturdy, one-piece cast iron casting with fully machined ways and holes for mounting to a bench. The head stock is a cast iron casting, housing a 4-step pulley. The hollow spindle center is driven between lifetime-lubricated ball bearings. The spindle is machined and precisely ground for Morse Taper fittings in the front and threaded on the back for outboard work. The cast iron tailstock houses a hardened steel barrel with a full 2″ travel.
