This used Striebig vertical panel saw is designed to cut big rectangles into smaller rectangles, so of course they do it more efficiently than a sliding table saw. On the Striebig vertical panel saw, the panel is stationary and the saw moves on precision guide-ways through the material. The heavy-duty panel rollers allow for operator ease of use and material handling; they permit loading and positioning of even the heaviest of panels with minimal effort. Constructed with a cully welded, heavy-duty frame that stays square over time. The precision rollers will not collect dust or chips that can set a panel out of quare, and material handling is so easy. The rigid center shelf allows for comfortable cutting of smaller pieces along with adjustable spacing of support fingers. An overall smooth operation via plunge head and counterbalance of the saw head. Scoring is simple with a climb cut. All you require is 70 sq ft of space to cut up to 5′ x 10′ panels (or 95 sq. ft. for 6′ x 14′). A continually covered saw blade is traveling through a stationary panel. Known as the standard of quality in vertical panel saws, Swiss engineered and built for over 50 years! Accuracy is up to .004″ and to guarantee perfectly square, chip free cuts that are either ready to glue up or go to the edgebander. Controls and operation are simple and logical, making the learning curve almost nonexistent. Recommend range of cutting materials: melamine, particle board, MDF, plasterboard, acrylics and other plastics, solid surface materials, aluminum composite material (ACM), non-ferrous metal, solid wood and other panel materials.
