This Powermatic ROUT-R-LIFT uses a precision adjustment handle to provide up to 2-1/2-inch of bit depth adjustment. One complete revolution of the adjustment handle equals 0.050-inch. This handle is easily removed for a flush routing surface. The heavy-duty anodized aluminum plate is 11-3/4-inch x 14-3/4-inch x 1/4-inch to prevents sagging, and lasts longer than common plastic inserts. A starting pin is provided to assist in freehand operations, when the fence is not used. The two 3/4-inch solid steel shafts add rigidity to router bit cutting at your desired depth. All moving parts ride on bronze bearing surfaces. The adjustable guard positions itself directly above the router bit for safety when in use. The 3-5/8-inch table opening accommodates larger router bits. Pre-cut table insert holds the Rout-R-Lift? to combine a top-quality router table with a table saw for space-saving convenience. Ten leveling screws ensure perfect alignment for accurate cutting.
