Powerful 3/4 HP enclosed fan cooled ribbed body motor for long life and trouble-free operation. Longitudinal sliding table with locking system prevents unnecessary repositioning and reclamping of the workpiece. Gas head cylinder for smooth and controlled cuts. Rack and pinion gears move entire head for maximum leverage and positive feed control. Heavy-duty precision machined cast-iron construction. Includes sleeve adaptors which accept 5/8″ and 3/4″ diameter chisel shanks. Adjustable depth and height stops. Comes complete with mortising chisel and bit set (1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″ & 1/2″), 1/2″ chuck and key, column mounted hold down, pair of 9 position table hold downs and quick release vise. Head tilts from 0? to 30? to the right and left for angle mortise cuts.
