Easily suited for use in home or industry. This used Beaver 24″ scroll saw will handle everything from fine intricate hobby work to big capacity production curve cutting operations. It combines the finest scroll saw features available to guarantee expert results on every job. With 4 speeds, you’ll find the right speed for cutting all materials. The base is heavy cast iron construction with ground surfaces for mounting the drive box. The drive box houses an ingenious mechanical arrangement with ball bearing crankshaft running in a forced feed oil bath to convert rotary pulley movement to reciprocating saw movement. A rotary air pump is installed to supply a constant air stream to nozzle for keeping the work lines clear of saw dust. The large cast iron table tilts on machine trunnions, for angle cutting. Universal type chucks rotate for unlimited length of cut. Tension adjustment control to minimize blade breakage and allow for usage of 5″, 6″ or 7″ blade lengths.
